Bucks County Medical Society Legislative Roundtable
Members of the Bucks County Medical Society and local legislators held a virtual Legislative Roundtable October 7. This is an annual event that is well attended by both physicians and legislators. It is a wonderful opportunity for local legislators to hear "firsthand" from their physician constituents about issues that directly impact their patients. The dialogue helps build relationships. Legislators on the call appreciated the conversation and weighed in on a number of topics including prior authorization, mental health, and the medical liability venue issue. This is the kind of legislative advocacy that pays dividends down the road.
