The Bucks County Medical Society strives to advance the professional and personal development of its physician members by providing educational and practice related resources as well as legislative advocacy. Moreover, the Bucks County Medical Society seeks to promote optimal outcomes for our patients as well as the public health of the Bucks County community.
Established in 1848, The Bucks County Medical Society strives to advance the professional and personal development of its physician members by providing educational and practice-related resources, as well as legislative advocacy. Moreover, the Bucks County Medical Society seeks to promote optimal outcomes for our patients as well as the public health of the Bucks County community.
The purposes of the Bucks County Medical Society, a component medical society of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, shall be to extend medical knowledge and advance medical science; to elevate and maintain the standards of medical education and training; to uphold the ethics and dignity of the medical profession; to establish friendly interchange among physicians and with the general public; and to promote an enlightened public opinion with regard to public health and hygiene, so that the profession shall become more useful to the public in the prevention and management of disease and in prolonging and adding comfort to life.
